I’m a Southern Highlands Artist with a love for finding the whimsical in the everyday landscapes. From white picket fenced cottage to a quiet, cozy corner, I’m drawn to the little details that bring a scene to life. And if there’s a chicken wandering through the picture, all the better - it’s the kind of detail that makes me smile.

Over the past two years, I’ve been inspired by the beauty of the Southern Highlands, painting its charming gardens, historic buildings and enchanting countryside. Alongside these local scenes, I love creating large scales English landscapes which are featured at Dirty Janes, Bowral.

There is something wonderfully freeing about working on such a large scale, using big brushes and to capture the rolling green hills and ever changing landscape. I love the freedom of the process and the opportunity to bring a sense of movement, character and a little whimsy to each painting.

For me, painting is about capturing not just the place, but the feeling of being there - finding beauty in the familiar, joy in the unexpected, ad a little magic in everyday.
